How to clear address bar history?


Address bar is a space in browser where we type in URL, or internet address. If you click on a down arrow on the right end of address bar a menu that consist of all your recent typed URL-s will appear. Also, as soon as you start typing the actual address in address bar your browser will offer list of URL-s to pick from. Those are URL-s that you typed recently as well and that option is called auto complete. This options are often very useful but what if you have visited websites that you do not want anybody to know off. If that is the case you have to clear address bar history and you can do it right in your browser. To clear address bar follow the steps outlined bellow. To clear address bar history from your computer do the following:

 

      In Internet Explorer:

       

    • Go to the Tools menu
    • Select Internet Options
    • Go to General tab (first one)
    • Click on Clear History.

     

      In Firefox:

       

    • Go to the Tools menu
    • Select Clear Private Data
    • Make sure Browsing History is checked. Uncheck others as you wish.
    • Click on Clear Private Data Now and your search history is cleared.
